Baby pink & Maroon
It’s motivational Friday! Yayy…
If you read the caption on my Instagram profile, it says
“live life, love life”
I am Grace and what you see is what you get. I love life!
And as happy as I am; I do not waste any of my precious time! I am the kind of
“walk the talk” person. Instead of sitting, thinking and planning, I put theory
into practice. I am consistent with my own words and actions, and I act
proficiently in an expert manner.
When I encounter a new land, a new areas of expertise, I would just wing it; somehow my guts getting me to the right
directions.
For all I did, I make no apologies.
After all, we are supposed to enjoy the good stuff NOW,
while we can….
The expression “I stopped explaining myself when I
realized people only understand from their level of perception” is on point.
Hope this small write up motivates you all… have a great
weekend all
It was such a bright sunny day!
thank you all for stopping by and viewing the post...

Manta Point Nusa Penida [unpublished]
Manta point in Nusa Penida is amazing for scuba diving to
see the majestic Manta Rays. The Manta Rays here grow up 6 meter in size, for
me that's quiet huge!
I have so many questions from my friends about the Manta
point, and I told them that it's an amazing experience that they should not
miss. I don’t have the most fantastic photos to capture the whole trip. My
camera was just a simple water proof pocket camera. I did took some photos, I
hope it can help you guys to imagine how amazing it was for me, and it might be
an amazing trip for you too --should you guys decide to go for a day trip.
Some of the images here are not mine, but I do mentioned the
owner of the photo. I was suggesting this trip to my friend Patricia, and I was successful in terms of impressing her!
On the way to the Manta point, I snorkel Nusa Penida's
crystal bay. If you dive, you might see sunfish / Mola Mola; this would normally be in Aug - Oct.
I must say, there are some stunning and beautiful soft
and hard coral formations, as well as plenty variations of sea creatures.

My Story (Your Story)
I never want to open a snapchat account since there will
be too much social media accounts that I have to manage and keep update to.
As social media update wasn't confusing enough, features
are added and added to our already existing accounts. But guess what? I love
it! Instagram has just added a new feature last August called
"Stories".
Now this would definitely serve as my "Snapchat"
without me worrying about signing up to another soc-med accounts. With Instagram new feature (do update your app first), you can put your
photos and short videos up for 24 hours only!
Stories will let you add doodles, text and emoji to your
images and can be accessed at the top of your feed. You can share your
Instagrams photos in a slideshow manners. These images and/or videos can be
seen by your friends, then it will disappear after 24 hours.
Sound familiar? Head over to Snapchat for the exact same
thing.

Baduy Transposed [guest post Riri Rengganis of Indische]
Like in music, to transpose is to shift the pitch of an entire song consistently, without changing the song itself. In design, I also associate transposing with the change of shape/function, without changing the materials itself.
This is a new collection using handwoven Baduy textiles. The Baduy Tribe is a traditional Sundanese community living in the village of Kanekes, located on the southeastern part of the Indonesian province of Banten, Java. The uniqueness of their handweaving is in the simplicity in its motifs, mostly just consists of stripes or squares. It is not as popular as the other weavings coming from other more exotic places in Indonesia. Usually this textile is used for "heavily ethnic" styled fashion. Through this limited collection, I present designs that are more simple, elegant and caters to people who love handmade textiles but are over and done with the colorful ethnic styling like most other collections offer. I am transposing/shifting the fabric's mainstream image from eclectic to a more modern genre with global trends, without changing the fabrics itself.

Wanderer
“We wanderers, ever seeking the lonelier way, begin no day where we have ended another day; and no sunrise finds us where sunset left us. Even while the earth sleeps we travel. We are the seeds of the tenacious plant, and it is in our ripeness and our fullness of heart that we are given to the wind and are scattered.” ― Kahlil Gibran

Pleats and Sneakers
There is nothing bigger than to tame oneself.
Who gives this statement?
That would be me.
It takes a very short time, shorter than my initial plan and schedule -- to realized my dreams and to achive my goals...
I am not the kind of person that once I achived something, that was it for me.
I can be very ambitious at times, but the other part of me simply want to achive a goal of finding my inner center.
Through life, understanding, making peace and accepting myself I finally tamed myself.
It is the peace that I am looking for all along.
It is amazing, as I stand still or moving really fast --the world forms a chain that is so complex revolving within me, around me and all over me; yet nothing that I do or did and everything that I did or do won't bother the movement.. it blends perfectly!
When I closed my eyes it's a harmony.

Jazz Traffic Festival 2016 (day two)
And I survived the second day of the Jazz Traffic Festival 2016. What is beyond amazing than a time spent with your besties, really!
It was such a good day, good time, and so much laughter that I can't believe 11.00am - 1.00am just went poof—gone...
The line up were (again, I didn't watch all): Tiwi Shakuhachi, Fusion Stuff, Monita, Eva Celia, Tohpati, Andien, Barry Likumahuwa Project & Ari Lasso
Enjoy the pictures after the jump...
