Turned On

Later this year, Instagram will change in a big way. Rather than showing you a chronological feed of images, an algorithm similar to the one that your Facebook feed has --will show photos in order on what you think you would like to see them.

Many Instagram accounts are worried that the change will make their content less visible, and they are... well... literally "begging" their followers to turn on their notifications. Maybe you have already noticed an overwhelmed posts on your feed that point towards the upper-right button of your screen, begging and demanding that you turn on these notifications. These notifications will send a ping to your phone whenever a new picture is posted. You’ll have to turn this feature on for each individual account if you want to get direct updates about them.

I, sincerely won’t recommend it!

Moksa

Have you ever been in a situation where you have made a dinner date or lunch date with your friends, set the date and time, but have no clue whatsoever where to go eat? This happened to me quiet often! "okay, see you Saturday,. But... where?"
"what kind of food do you want to eat?"
"what do you feels like to eat?"
"should we try a new place? but what new place is out there?"
Moksa is a vegan restaurant in Ubud that I really liked, they have different lunch menu and dinner menu and each month it changes! Awesome!

Malang photo diary

I didn't pick up my camera as much for this one week holiday. So much fun to enjoy, that I hardly have the chance to click the shutter. But then again, food is an exception to the case :)

Surabaya day trip

I took a leap as far as friendship concerns. Why would I say so? Because I would travel distance just to see them! They are my treasures in life. So in between my holiday schedule in Malang, I took one day off  - of my - days off (such a mouthful) and traveled to Surabaya. I had so much fun!
Enjoy the picture after the jump...

Paragliding Mt. Banyak

A diary of my experience paragliding Mt. Banyak, East Java

Straight from my one week holiday in Malang, this is one of the activity that I did: Paragliding. Paragliding is the recreational adventure sport of flying para-gliders. It is a lightweight, free-flying, foot-launched glider parachute with no rigid primary structure. The pilot sits in a harness suspended below a fabric wing comprising a large number of interconnected baffled cells. Wing shape is maintained by the suspension lines, the pressure of air entering vents in the front of the wing, and the aerodynamic forces of the air flowing over the outside. Since it is a tandem-based ride for me, I am attached in front of the pilot.

Sitting comfortably (and taking pictures obviously), para-gliders fly can last many hours and cover many hundreds of kilometers, despite not using an engine! I was always into the adrenaline of things, and so I was asking "this is it, we were jumping off the platform and just gonna fly here there?" My pilot was apparently challenged, so he did these maneuvers:

Kebaya

As I am sitting here with my friends, I realized that we are all one person that meet another and another more and all of these individuals are coming from different walks of life. Each person touches you in a good way, or bad or just stop by --to make a certain impression.

The ones that actually stays in your life are setting a certain parameter towards you, or you towards them. I wrote a short message to a dear friend when he moved to another city, [okay so I wrote poems and notes for my friends...] This one says "not a place, not a space, not a moment nor a distance would separate what we have live. I will cross the road, run through the rain when you needed me and when you do not need me. I will permeate your life and haunt you, to make sure you are okay --as only then, I will be okay"

Today, is another farewell... my cousin said it is not a goodbye, it means "I love you"
Okay -- I'll settle for that.
