Poo Tay Hie Puppet (Wayang Potehi)

To welcome the Chinese New Year, I am bringing you back to my childhood memories where the Chinese temple in the city where I grew up, Malang, use to hold this puppet show called "Wayang Potehi".

Shopping day

It's that weekend that I actually have time to take a slower pace and enjoying it leisurely. By leisure, I mean shop, eat and drink ;)

Bangkok (photo-diary part 3)

On the 3rd day in Bangkok, instead of spending time around the modern big city; we are opting to do a bike tour ...

Bangkok [photo-diary part 1]

my trusted chuck

still mourning for the passing King Bhumibol :'(

And I am back again in Bangkok, Thailand. Always love the city, it is a good food, good shopping and love the temples!  I can only sum it up to 3 parts as I don't have time to really compose a story. Hopefully the images can tell its own story, and if not --the caption would hopefully help.

"True love is not a strong, fiery, impetuous passion. It is, on the contrary, an element calm and deep. It looks beyond mere externals, and is attracted by qualities alone. It is wise and discriminating, and its devotion is real and abiding." ~Ellen G. White

I just love this quotes, it is completely unrelated to my "Randomly" post, but, to those that have seen my randomly post before, would know that it is about many things that I heard, places I went, people I've met—that touched my life. I am striving to stay awake to be in the moment, soak on the smell, mentally captured what I saw and listens to the sound—snap I went to captured these moments as they come.

Enjoy the picture after the jump.

Little Twin Stars Sanrio

The Little Twin Stars are a pair of Sanrio siblings created in 1975. They are similar to angels and consist of a little boy with blue hair called Kiki and a little girl called Lala with long pink hair. Kiki and Lala have also been seen with brown hair and blonde hair respectively. Kiki and Lala were originally born on Omoiyari Star (also known as the Star of Compassion) in the Yume Star-Cloud and traveled a long way to Earth to become "wonderful shining stars". They were born on December 24th (Christmas Eve).

The Little Twin Stars would spend time wondering about life on Earth and it was a planet that they had heard much about. They set out to Earth with permission from "Mother-Star" and "Father-Star" with the help of Lala's wand, and have "been spreading to everyone they meet" after arriving on Earth.

Kiki is curious and full of energy, although he can come across as "flustered" or a little cheeky at times. He can fly through the sky using a star on his back.  He loves star fishing and inventions.
Lala loves to draw and write poems and is great at cooking. She can come across as timid and cries easily.

Little Twin Stars is my favorite Sanrio character as I grow up! Kind of still is :)

Malang photodiary

Malang, East Java, culinary city, this is my holiday photo diary. Spent me a good 8 days here. Can't get enough!

Boxing day with SAGA

We are just a bunch of boys and girls that were junior high school friends, sitting in the same class for 3 years, and spending hell of good times together (if not craziest). And we still are, till now and will always most probably ;)
