Located at Jalan Darmo Permai Selatan I No.93, Pradahkalikendal, Kec. Dukuhpakis, Surabaya City, it is a casual dining place for the best meat in town. Although at first you feel that you are at a  wrong place and the layout seems like a usual grocery shop; there are dining area that is pretty spacious and nice.

Some menu are not listed, such as pork, do ask what they have!

Surabaya has become one of my home town now. I know, you all probably think "why this woman made all cities she liked as her home?"
Well... my 'daughter' , of which is actually my niece that has lived with me since she was small, --she got married and settled in Surabaya and now she has a baby. Making me a proud grand aunty...
IN LOVE!

so yeah,... I visited Surabaya a lott!!

Surabaya [Mar 2019]

If you are to ask me what is it that makes me going back to Surabaya from time to time?
First answer is my niece and her baby.
Second and still most important is my best friend.

Aside from that, Surabaya is quiet a big city that is bearable compared to Jakarta. It is not that I am not well introduced to Jakarta by my Mom; and my grandpa (their origin); it's more that every time I gave Jakarta a chance, it kept on failing me. So if you to asked, yeah I have it!

Surabaya is in East Java, similar manners as Malang where I grew up. Same language, similar food, plus there are malls, anything I can't get in Bali--I will shop it here.

It is nothing like a bonding time with my bestie, this is why I have flown to East Java's capital "Surabaya" for her and of course our most fave: the Jazz Traffic Festival. With the theme "Souls of Freedom" --it could not get any better! A couple of friends are joining too. It was 2 days well spent with my bestie! priceless!!!

Jazz Traffic Festival 2016 (day two)

And I survived the second day of the Jazz Traffic Festival 2016. What is beyond amazing than a time spent with your besties, really! 

It was such a good day, good time, and so much laughter that I can't believe 11.00am - 1.00am just went poof—gone...

The line up were (again,  I didn't watch all): Tiwi Shakuhachi, Fusion Stuff, Monita, Eva Celia, Tohpati, Andien, Barry Likumahuwa Project & Ari Lasso

Jazz Traffic Festival 2016 (day one)

Jazz Traffic Festival 2016 in Surabaya was held in Grand City with three stages, stage A Convention Hall, stage B Exhibition Hall and stage C the Open Air one. 

The line up that I went to were (no I didn't watch all): Trisouls (damn good!), Yuka, Andre Hehanusa & Nicky Mauputy, The Groove, Dua Drum, Maliq & D'Essentials, Glenn Fredly.
