I am right now acting tour guide for a colleague at work, she is an artist from Japan/U.S.A. and I love to show her around because she appreciates and loves Bali nature! First stop was the rice terrace Jatiluwih, situated within Tabanan Regency and in the Penebel Village, the panoramic view is just breathtaking and Jatiluwih rice terrace is UNESCO World Heritage Site! What do you think guys?
we had lunch there with the rice terrace view, it was PRICELESS!
Second stop was The Royal Temple of Mengwi (Pura Taman Ayun), is one of the most important temples in Bali. Built in 1634 by a King of the Mengwi dynasty, this impressive complex stands on an island in a river, its inner temple surrounded by a moat. Its Balinese name Pura Taman Ayun literally means ‘Garden Temple in the Water’. Pura Taman Ayun was built as a series of garden terraces with courtyards on different levels. The entire complex was designed to symbolize the mythological home of the gods, Mount Meru, floating in the sea of eternity. And how about this one?
