Soorts-Hossegor is a commune in the  Landes dept. in Aquitane in south-western France, 20 km north of Biaritz. It is well known as a seaside resort and surfing center, considered as one of the best surfing locales in the world.(like our Kuta Bali.....). The city's economy is centered around surfing. Until 1310, the mouth of theAdour was in the district of Capbreton-Hossegor. When the Vikings attacked the area in 840, they settled immediately in the deserted swamps around the mouth. At that time, the chief of the invaders was Asgeir. Hossegor remained a whale hunting area until the 14th century. Hossegor is a part of the little town of Soorts. Hossegor has long been one of the premier surfing locations in Europe, with a series of world-class beach breaks such as Gravière and La Nord, and with nearby beach breaks in Capbreton and Seignosse such as La Piste and Bourdaines. It supports a thriving nightlife through the summer, centered at La Plage Centrale. It holds the Quiksilver Pro France contest every year in September.

Les Macarons de Ladurée a Paris

We have planned to take with us Laduree Macarons as we left Paris, so off we go and went to the nearest (I'd say nearest because afterward we will pick up my cousin that work in Christofle at Rue Royale). And so here we are, at the Laduree Rue Royale Paris

Remember this scene from the movie Sex and the city where Carrie Bradshaw had her high tea?
I swore to you, the pastry and bakery are the best at Laduree, too bad we cannot take any pictures of it and the interior.

These image & video below are unrelated, however I feel like sharing (it's from the same day). Tshirt by Desigual (love love love!) Jeans by Colorbox, Bag by H&M, Shoes by Everbest, Sunglasses by Roxy (model Roma Champ)

thank you all for viewing the post...

Sacré-Cœur Basilica, Paris

And now we are heading to The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, commonly known as Sacré-Cœur Basilica. Sacré-Cœur is a Roman Catholic church & a small basilica that is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Paris. This popular landmark is located at the summit of the Montmartre, the highest point in the city. Sacré-Cœur is a double monument, political and cultural, both a national penance for the defeat of France in the 1871 Franco-Prussian War and the socialist Paris Commune 1871 crowning its most rebellious neighborhood, and an embodiment of conservative moral order, publicly dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which was an increasingly popular vision of a loving and sympathetic Christ. The Sacré-Cœur Basilica was designed by Paul Abadie, construction began in 1875 and was finished in 1914.

Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris

We visited the Centre Pompidou on the wrong day, it was closed! So we decided to come back in a couple of days.

Such a modern building, I feel like we're somewhere else!

Centre Georges Pompidou; commonly shortened to Centre Pompidou is a complex building in the Beaubourg area of the 4th arrondissement of Paris (you need to know the location so that you can take the right metro/ subway). It is near Les Halles, Rue Montorgueil and the Marais. The design of it was made in a high-tech architecture style. The place house the public information library, the MuseeNational d'Art Moderne - museum of modern art! Claimed as the largest museum for modern art in Europe, it is the center for music and acoustic research too! the center is named under the French president (1969-1974).
