Snorkeling Tulamben

This weekend we are snorkeling in Tulamben. Tulamben is a small fishing village on the north-east coast of Bali. It is among the most popular dive sites on Bali since the wreck of the Liberty, a US Army Transport ship torpedoed by a Japanese submarine in 1942 lies just off shore.  The town's name is derived from the word batulambih, which roughly translates as "many stones", a reference to the destructive eruptions by Mount Agung that have affected this part of Bali from time to time. The beach in Tulamben is not made of sand, but is entirely covered with fairly large, smooth stones. The modern name evolved over time, first to "Batulamben" and finally settling on the contraction Tulamben ("batu" means "stone" in Indonesian)

Karen Millen show

Karen Millen was founded in 1981 by Kevin Stanford and Karen Millen. With a loan of just £100 they began manufacturing and selling white shirts to their friends. A party plan network followed, and in 1983 they opened their first store in Kent, UK.

The company has continued to expand, and its global presence now stretches from the UK to Europe, Russia, Asia and Australia.

Gemma Metheringham became creative director in 2006, overseeing a team of 12 designers that work on our ready to wear, accessories and lingerie collections.

Here is a preview from Karen Millen Show 8 April in Paragon, Singapore.

birthday of a friend

A friend of mine wants to celebrate her birthday by dancing and listening to music, she opted Hard Rock Center Stage... too bad there were only the 3 of us instead of the total 12 people she invited. Wrong day for a celebration or wrong choice of venue? It ends up fine!

i know you think its too matchie-matchie, i put the jeans as a twist!

Happy birthday Elodie!
