Albertina & Museums Quartier, Vienna

The Albertina not only has the largest and most valuable graphical collections in the world, with works such as Dürer’s “Hare” and Klimt's studies of women. Its latest exhibition collection presents masterpieces of the Modern, spanning Monet to Picasso and Baselitz. As the largest Hapsburg residential palace, the Albertina dominates the southern tip of the Imperial Palace on one of the last remaining fortress walls in Vienna. No photos were allowed inside Albertina, after all it is now an expensive apartment space...


Albertina is one of the world’s house for finest art collections since 1805, a grand Viennese palace in the Neoclassical style. Love the architectural work of this building and the history too....
After Albertina, we walked towards Museum Quartier, and did Leopold Museum.

 

Head back to Hotel as we need to change for the Schonbrunn, we definitely will do the Marionette show and therefore we head to the Schonbrunn Palace -a former imperial summer residence in Vienna. We took the u-bahn (subway).... till then...
